Cranston, Rhode Island – Thursday, September 5, 2019 – Business leaders, innovators and changemakers are invited to convene at the inaugural ON Leadership Conference on Thursday, Nov. 21 to explore how to navigate life’s greatest professional and personal change moments with heightened clarity and self-assurance. Registration is officially open for the half-day event, taking place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick, Rhode Island, from 8 am to 12:30 pm.

The ON Leadership Conference, presented by Dirigo Leadership Consulting and national leadership activator Tim Hebert, will explore the concept of “Change” as this year’s theme. Through a series of keynote presentations, TED-like talks and experiential moments, attendees will learn how to embrace proven techniques, strategies and mindsets so they can feel more confident in embracing moments of transition head on and, in so doing, creating positive, forward-facing momentum within their self, profession and greater community.

“We often view transition and inflection points—whether personal or professional—as potential threats to our existing way of operating. Sometimes that change marker comes in the form of a new work challenge, a shift in a family dynamic, a critical life moment, or a number of other things. But instead of viewing these markers as threats, we need to realize that this moment represents the other side of the same coin: opportunity,” says Hebert.

“Intentional leaders are deliberate about viewing change as an opportunity more often than viewing it as a danger,” he adds. “As a result, they are able to welcome change into their leadership journey, viewing change as a pivotal learning and evolutionary moment that contributes to their growth and legacy.”

The event will bring together change aficionados who are committed to accelerating their leadership potential. Corporate professionals will sit alongside solopreneurs, and each attendee will be asked to leave their “self-limiting beliefs, titles and place in the hierarchy, and fixed mindset assumptions at the door,” says Hebert.

Hebert will deliver the opening remarks and closing capstone address, exploring how leaders can be more purposeful in exposing themselves to the experiences and crafting the beliefs that allow them to turn professional and personal transitional moments into catalysts for meaningful leadership change. The full agenda, including additional speakers, will be released soon.
