Cranston, Rhode Island – Monday, January 20, 2020 – Paying homage to the Transcendentalism movement—which brought together great American writers, philosophers and theorists regularly to share ideas and expand perspective—national keynoter and prolific author Tim Hebert has launched the Inspired Leadership Series. A recurring event series, the Inspired events will bring together local leaders and innovators for an evening of learning, connection and exploration.

“I’ve always believed that something special happens when you bring together growth-oriented individuals and ask them to explore a core leadership concept together,” says Hebert. “Within seconds, these individuals willingly dive deep into important issues, unafraid to challenge and evolve their thoughts, consider new perspectives and figure out immediate ways they can take action. The Inspired Leadership Series invites forward-thinking leaders to do just that. To pull back the curtain on an important leadership idea, explore and debate it in small groups, and commit to taking action tomorrow in support of something bigger.”

Each Inspired event will follow a similar format: a spotlight speaker will tee up a leadership theme in a 15-minute TED-like presentation and then attendees will be asked to discuss and expand upon the idea in small group discussions. Audience size is intentionally capped at 36 attendees to cultivate intimacy and connection amongst attendees.

The first Inspired event, “Big Bang Vision,” taking place February 5, sold out within days. The event will take place at Tavolo Wine Bar & Tuscan Grille in Warwick, Rhode Island—the exclusive sponsor for all 2020 Inspired events.

The inaugural Inspired event will feature spotlight speaker Chris Poe, a keynote speaker, technology executive and business strategist. Poe will introduce his “Big Bang Vision” concept, helping attendees explore how to be intentional and focused on creating their big vision, enlisting others and achieving desired goals.

“I hope that our time together inspires participants to embrace the opportunity that vision can help them achieve not just organizational or team goals, but also personal and professional goals as individuals,” says Poe. “Living and leading with vision enlists others to come together to contribute their support and energy to the realization of goals, both big and small.”

Business leaders across all industries and experience levels are invited to attend the Inspired events. There will be four more Inspire events throughout the year with the next session, centered on the theme of purpose, which will take place March 4 at Tavolo. Registration will open in February.
