Cranston, Rhode Island – Tuesday, July 17, 2018 – Tim Hebert, a 40-year entrepreneur, business owner and professional activator, has launched Dirigo Leadership Consulting, an epicenter of workshops, public speaking and training services that equip business professionals with the proven frameworks, tools and perspectives to become more intentional leaders. Dirigo allows Hebert to more purposefully bring the lessons he has learned in entrepreneurialism, leadership and workforce development to the broader community.
“Each of us is capable of reaching and grabbing for the successes, experiences and growth moments that seem so wildly impossible yet are completely within our grasp if we just decide to act,” says Hebert. “My experience has taught me that each of us needs to step into our leadership path more intentionally. We need to choose to stand up more than we sit down. We need to start taking action and assuming ownership of our leadership journey.”
For more than 30 years, Hebert helped his employees, clients, partners and the greater community step into their leadership journey as CEO and President of Atrion, a Rhode Island-based IT services firm. Under Hebert’s tenure, Atrion grew from a two-man, spare-bedroom operation to a $160-million, 260-plus employee organization. During that time Atrion emerged as an employer of choice, named one of Rhode Island’s “Best Places to Work” companies for seven straight years. The company appeared on the Inc. 5000 List of fastest-growing private companies for eight consecutive years and consistently place on CRN’s Fast Growth 150 List.
Today, Hebert serves as CEO of his 19th company Trilix, an application development and systems integration firm empowering clients to reach an amplified level of workplace excellence. He is also a voracious author and seasoned speaker on topics related to intentional leadership, business transformation and professional and personal introspection.
Through Dirigo Leadership Consulting, business professionals can engage Hebert—and his growing ecosystem of partners—for keynote speaking, workshops and trainings, and personal coaching sessions. Among Hebert’s workshops include his flagship, two-day Leadership Challenge Workshop, that inspires attendees to recognize that leaders are not born; rather they are made. Hebert has been offering the Leadership Challenge Workshop for more than 12 years, having trained more than 1,500 business professionals on the five pillars of intentional leadership. His cornerstone keynote, “Leadership is a Choice: How Will You Stand Up?” ignites in attendees the belief that they can become the agent of change.
“Becoming an intentional leader is not unlike playing on the monkey bars,” says Hebert. “It requires you to let go of the rung that defines who you are today and potentially holds you back from who you are meant to be. If you summon the strength and courage to let go and reach forward, you create the momentum for personal and professional growth.”
